WYNNUM SPRING FESTIVAL 2025
Over the last few decades, many official and colloquial names have been used and, may still be being used, to identify the Wynnum Spring Festival.
AMBULANCE SPRING PARADE, WYNNUM SPRING PARADE, BAYSIDE SPRING PARADE,
BAYSIDE SPRING FESTIVAL, CAROLS BY THE BAY, WYNNUM CAROLS
Wynnum Spring Festival and Parade, Brisbane's Bayside Spring Festival, has not happened for a several years. The cost of insurance, public liability, park and street closures; makes it unrealistic at present.
QSHBA has taken on board re-activating the Spring festival as one of its projects. So far, the Bayside Carols, which was part of the Wynnum Spring Festival's projects, has been re-established by QSHBA and has now grown bigger than ever.
Whilst insurance for the Spring Festival and its Parade, has now been secured by QSHBA, the cost of street closures has not yet been raised.

The dates set for this year are: Friday 12/9 to Sunday 14/9, the parade
being on the Saturday. If you want to be involved, as
a participant
or as a volunteer, send a message .
There is a meeting for interested persons at
Alex's office (3a/212 Bay Tce., Wynnum) on Wednesday 1 MAY 24 at 5pm.
In the mean time you could also complete the
attached expression of interest
Great news!! Our
local Councilor, Alex Givney, has been working hard to acquire funding for the
festival.
